For the inaugural inaugural Shelby 427 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, the Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation put a 2009 Shelby 427 GT500 Super Snake on auction on eBay. The auction will end on February 19, 2009, and features the number 427 2009 Shelby 427 GT500 Super Snake unit out of a limited production run of 427.
The winner of the car will also receive a VIP ticket to the Shelby 427 race on March 1, 2009.
The 2009 Shelby 427 GT500 Super Snake is powered by a Ford Racing Supercharger and outputs 605 horsepower and 590 ft.-lbs. of torque.
