Shelby American has announced today the new 2011 Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake package which puts no less than 800 hp under its hood. The extra horsepower of the 2011 Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake comes courtesy of a Shelby/Kenne Bell tune-up, a supercharger kit, an upgraded drive shaft, and a billet twin 75mm throttle body.
The 2011 Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake also comes with a Borla exhaust system, an Eibach handling pack, Alcoa 20-inch wheels, and a short-throw shifter. All those horsepower must be stopped when needed, so the 2011 Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake is fitted with Baer brakes with 6 piston calipers and cross drilled / vented rotors and front brake cooling ducts.
The 2011 Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake also features a fiberglass hood, signature go-faster stripes in either matte black or matte white and various badges.
