Ford has released the first 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 video showing the new model doing some twists and turns on a country road. The clip also details the interior of the new model. The 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 develops 540 hp and 510 foot-pounds of torque and has a standard 3.55:1 rear axle ratio. This gearbox enhancement gives it better acceleration and improved highway fuel economy (an estimated 2 miles per gallon more). The 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 will be available in showrooms from this spring.
