This is exactly what happens when you put just too much horsepower under the hood. This is a supercharged Shelby GT500 Mustang that according to the video's description develops 800 hp. We're not really sure what happened and why the supercharged Shelby GT500 blew up while on the dyno, but we're sure the engine is pretty much a wreck.
The latest version of the GT500, the 2011 Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake, has a Shelby/Kenne Bell supercharger kit, a billet twin 75mm throttle body and a strengthened drive shaft. The official specs say the 2011 Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake develops 800 hp.
