This new 2011 BMW M5 spy video, shot on the Nurburgring race track in Germany, offers the chance to hear the engine of the new model. The new generation 2011 BMW M5 will lose the V10 powerplant of the current model in favor of a supercharged V8. Most sources believe the new 2011 BMW M5 will share the 4.4-liter V8 that's currently under the hood of the X5M and X6M. If this will be the case, the 2011 BMW M5 will develop 555 hp and 500 lb.-ft. of torque.
