BMW has released today the first 2012 BMW M5 teaser video confirming that the next generation of the super saloon is getting closer to its premiere. The clip's description says only this "We're all looking forward to Friday". What do you think it could possibly mean? It could mean only two things. Either BMW is going to release some new info on the 2012 M5, or they will actually unveil it. Now that would be just too good to be true. We'll just have to wait for a few more hours to see what's this all about, because the teaser video they released doesn't show much. It's dark and the only distinguishable features of the 2012 M5 are its headlights.
What we know so far about the 2012 BMW M5 is that it will sport the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 as
the one hidden beneath the skin of the X5M / X6M. We're not really sure the power output of the 2012 BMW M5 will be the same, but if it will, you'll have 555 hp to play with.
