Fiat revealed today the new generation 2012 Panda, which will be displayed for the first time in public next month, at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. with new styling and new technology, the 2012 Fiat Panda represents a new evolution in the life of the model that first saw the light of day 31 years ago. Fiat promises that the new 2012 Panda will be more usable in the city, and that it will offer more space for its passengers and their luggage. Fiat's 2012 Panda measures 3650 mm in length, 1640 mm in width, and 155 m in height, which is just a few extra mm in comparison to the previous version.

In terms of design, the 2012 Panda comes with a new a convex bonnet, a horizontal front grille, new headlights with Daytime Running lights,

and re-styled vertical rear lights. Overall, the 2012 Panda has a more rounded appearance, but it's marked wheel arches continue to give it an all-terrain look.

At the interior, the 2012 Panda has several new features, including a front passenger seat backrest which folds into a table, splitting and sliding rear seats, and a new dashboard.

The 2012 Fiat Panda will be available with either a 85 HP 0.9 TwinAir Turbo engine,



a 65 HP 0.9 Aspirated TwinAir unit, and a revised 69 HP 1.2 Fire powertrain. The diesel range of the 2012 Panda includes a 75 HP 1.3 MultiJet II with Start&Stop. Fiat will also sell the 2012 Panda with a bifuel 80 HP 0.9 TwinAir Turbo Natural Power (petrol/methane) engine or a 69 HP 1.2 EasyPower (petrol/LPG), which will come later in the model's life.

The equipment list of the 2012 Panda includes 4 airbags, ABS, an electric "Skydome" sun roof, a Hi-Fi system and the Blue&Me TomTom LIVE system.
