Nissan released recently a video showing the record Nurburgring lap of the new 2012 Nissan GT-R. The facelifted 2012 Nissan GT-R managed to run the famous German race track in 7 minutes 24 seconds and 22 improving by 2 seconds the record set by its predecessor. Nissan's 2012 GT-R features various improvements in both performance and looks. The power of the 2012 GT-R comes from the same V6 3.8-liter biturbo engine, which now comes with an increased output to 530 PS at 6,400rpm and 612 Nm of torque between 3,200 and 6,000 rpm.
The performance figures are impressive, to say the least. The 2012 Nissan GT-R is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h).
Nissan prices the new 2012 GT-R at 69,950 GBP in Britain which frankly is not a lot to pay for a 3 second 0-62 mph sprint.
