Toyota announced today that the world debut of the re-designed 2012 Camry will take place on August 23, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time. The 2012 Toyota Camry debut will be aired live from Hollywood and it will be hosted by Bob Carter, Toyota Division group vice president and general manger. The premiere ceremony will also include a visit to the manufacturing plant in Georgetown, Ky. you'll be able to watch the debut of the new Camry live, on Toyota.com and after that, Bob Carter will host a TweetChat via Twitter at 1:00 p.m. PDT (4:00 p.m. EDT) (#CamryLive, questions on #CamryChat).
Toyota also announced that during the premiere of the 2012 Camry, it will make an important announcement regarding NASCAR.
The 2012 Toyota Camry will be available with a choice between three engines: a 3.5-liter V6 with 268 hp, a 2.5-liter with 169 hp and a 2.4-liter developing 187 hp.
