Just as Toyota was releasing this week a second teaser image of the 2012 Camry, the new model's specs were leaking over the web. Since the first teaser photo of the 2012 Toyota Camry showed us the car's headlights, the second one had to give us a glimpse of its tail lights. According to various sources citing a French magazine, the specifications list of the 2012 Camry includes three engines.

The top of the range 2012 Camry will be powered by Toyota's 3.5-liter V6 engine, which is rated at 268 hp and 335 Nm of torque. the leaked specs also includes some performance figures. Apparently, the V6 version of the 2012 Camry will be able to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 7.2 seconds and it will have a top speed of

137 mph (220 km/h). Not bad for a large Toyota.

The entry level model of the 2012 Toyota Camry range will be powered by a 2.5-liter engine with an output of 169 hp and 226 Nm of torque. Toyota's specs, which have not been confirmed yet, say that the 2.5-liter Camry will have a 0-62 mph (100 km/h) sprint time of 9.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 118 mph (190 km/h).



Finally, there will also be a 2.4-liter engine that, despite its, smaller displacement, will have a higher horsepower output than the 2.5-liter version. the unit is rated at 187 hp and 270 Nm of torque. The 2012 Camry 2.4 will accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 8.9 seconds and it will be able to top 124 mph (200 km/h).

The price list of the 2012 Toyota Camry will be announced at a later date.
