The 2013 Dodge Viper, in both coupe and roadster body styles, was spied recently during testing. Both 2013 Viper prototypes had their front end camouflaged, which suggests that the main design changes are visible at the front section of the supercar. The roadster version of the 2013 Viper will have a canvas soft-top, which will probably open and close automatically. Dodge has redesigned the front end of the 2013 Viper, giving it new headlights, a re-style hood and a new front bumper with large air intakes.

Under the hood of the 2013 Viper, dodge is expected to put a an 8.4 liter V10 engine, developed in collaboration with Fiat. Fiat's MultiAir engine technology is supposed to reduce the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the 2013 Viper.

Early indications say that the 2013 Viper will output just over 600 hp and around 760 Nm of torque.

Back in April, Chrysler released a 2013 Dodge Viper teaser image and announced that the new version of the model will probably go on sale at the end of next year.
