Dodge announced today the price of the SRT Viper GTS for the United States market, where the new supercar is already available for ordering. The full specifications and performance figures of the SRT Viper GTS have also been disclosed today. The power of the new Viper (2013) comes from a huge 8.4-liter aluminum V10 engine that puts out 640 hp and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. With this engine, the 2013 SRT Viper is able to get from zero to 60 mph in just over 3 seconds and to reach a top speed of 206 mph. Dodge says that the new SRT Viper (2013) is able to run the quarter mile in the mid 11-second range and that it can go from zero to 100 mph and back to zero in less than 12 seconds. With a drag coefficient of 0.369 Cd and a stopping distance of 106 feet (from 60 mph), the SRT Viper is one very serious track day machine.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not yet announced the fuel economy and the CO2 emissions level of the SRT Viper.

The 2013 SRT Viper's price starts at $97,395 MSRP without the $1,995 destination charge, while the higher-spec SRT Viper GTS is going to cost you at least $120,395 MSRP (excluding $1,995 destination). So far the SRT Viper's optional extras and their prices have not been announced yet.
