SRT (Street and Racing Technology), which is a division of Chrysler, released today the first teaser image of the new 2013 Viper. Apparently, the future version of the supercar will drop the dodge branding, and it will be called simply the SRT Viper. So far, the carmaker did not release any details regarding the 2013 SRT Viper except this drawing, which frankly, doesn't say much. Based on this sketch, we could assume that the 2013 SRT Viper will feature LED daytime running lights, which will be integrated into its headlights. But that's about it.
Various sources are suggesting that the SRT Viper 2013 will be powered by an 8.7-liter V10 engine, however, in this economy, an engine this size is out of the question.
A more reasonable choice would be a Hemi V8, which will still offer plenty of power.
