Dodge revealed today the new 2014 SRT Viper TA, which is a purpose built machined designed to compete in Time Attack events. The 2014 SRT Viper TA is designed to offer the best possible performance with a special road course focused handling package. Dodge is going to build just 33 units of the SRT Viper Time Attack, all of them having an orange finish. The SRT Viper TA's price has not been disclosed yet, but Dodge says they will go on sale on the third quarter of 2013. The SRT Viper TA (Time Attack) was developed in collaboration with road racers and even though it's built for the track, it is still road legal. The world debut of the SRT Viper TA is going to take place at the New York International Auto Show on March 27, 2013.

Basically, the SRT Viper TA features a custom-tuned suspension along with a specially developed aerodynamic package. The Time Attack SR Viper features a two-mode Bilstein Damptronic suspension system, ultra-lightweight, multi-spoke Sidewinder II wheels and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. The Viper's shock dampers, springs and stabilizer bars have been tuned for optimal track performance. The Viper's standard aluminum structural X-brace is replaced with a lighter carbon fiber one. The SRT Viper TA is also equipped with better Brembo brakes.

The Time Attack Viper comes with carbon fiber front splitters, a rear spoiler and a carbon fiber rear applique. At the interior, SR fitted the Viper TA with Sabelt premium ballistic fabric racing seats and 3- or 6-point harnesses. The car weighs around 3,348 pounds.
