Dodge revealed today the new SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon special edition at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon is based on the 2014 version of the supercar and it comes with the carmaker's first metallic matte exterior color. Only fifty units of the Viper GTS Anodized Carbon are going to be built, each wearing a unique plaque with its production number. Apart from the special exterior finish, the Anodized Carbon Viper GTS is also equipped with a set of Black Vapor Chrome five-spoke Rattler alloys, a Gloss Black GTS badge, a Satin Black exhaust bezel, and Anodized Carbon fuel filler door. The Viper Anodized Carbon is also equipped with orange brake calipers, carbon fiber brake ducts and special rear applique.
For the interior of the Viper Anodized, SRT is offering an Alcantara wrapped headliner, door bolsters and knee blockers, Nappa leather-covered door panels with orange stitching. The same Nappa combination is found on the center console and instrument panel. The SRT Viper Anodized's seats are covered with Nappa leather and Alcantara. There are also various carbon fiber trim parts too.
The SRT Viper GTS Anodized Carbon's price has not been announced yet, but the carmaker says it will go into production in January. The Viper GTS is powered by an 8.4-liter V10 engine that develops 640 hp and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. This is the most torque of any naturally aspirated sports-car engine in the world.
