The Zakspeed Dodge Viper you see in these images is a winning racecar, which has been converted for public street use. In fact, this particular vehicle is the Zakspeed Viper is a 24-Hour of Nurburgring winner, or so claims Heurich Classics - the company that made it street legal again. The car is based on a Viper GTS-R, which means it's powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to a Tremec six-speed manual transmission. With an output of 600 hp, this Zakspeed Viper is a really powerful tool. It comes with KW dampers and a Motec M8 system. Heurich Classics says it weighs just 1350 kg.

In comparison to its racing days, this Zakspeed Viper no longer has its huge rear diffuser, nor its rear wing.

It features new side channels, street legal wheels and tires, and new brakes with CNC-machined calipers. The Zakspeed Dodge Viper also comes with a wider, and more manageable, steering angle, new cooling and exhaust systems, and of course, lights.

The price of retrofitting the Zakspeed Dodge Viper for street use has not been announced, not the owner's plans for the car’s future.
