AMS Performance announced that they have built a 1,300 hp Nissan GT-R, which they call the Alpha 12. To prove that Godzilla's output is real, they released a video showing a dyno pull and a quarter mile run. Here are some figures: the AMS Alpha 12 Nissan GT-R develops 1,309 hp and 1,384 Nm of torque at the wheel, with a boost of 35 psi. As shown in the clip, the AMS Alpha 12 GT-R is able to run the quarter mile in around 9 seconds at over 160 mph, and it can accelerate from 60 mph to 130 mph (roughly 100 km/h to 200 km/h) in just 3.46 seconds.

AMS says that their new Nissan GT-R develops so much torque that it’s able o put all its power on the ground only when running in fifth gear. During the acceleration tests,

the Alpha 12 AMS GT-R was spinning all its four wheels even in the fourth gear.

AMS says that it has tested the Alpha 12 GT-R in less than perfect road conditions. They also announced that they will repeat the tests and hopefully get even more amazing performance figures.

Meanwhile, watch the AMS Alpha 12 Nissan GT-R write history in the video below.
