The world debut of the new Abarth Fiat 124 Spider Elaborazione is going to take place today at the 2016 New York Auto Show. The Abarth Fiat 124 Spider comes equipped with a 1.4-liter MultiAir four-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 160 hp and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed automatic gearbox. The Abarth 124 Spider comes with an exclusive Sport Mode that changes the settings of the engine, transmission, electric power steering and of the dynamic stability control system. The Abarth 124 Spider is equipped with a mechanical limited slip differential, mono-tube Bilstein front and rear shock absorbers, Brembo brakes with monoblock aluminum 4-piston calipers, and 17-inch alloys.
The Abarth Fiat 124 Spider's equipment list also includes Recaro sport seats, and a distinctive aerodynamics package with restyled front and rear bumpers, and side skirts. The Abarth 124 Spider also features a sport exhaust system with four chrome tailpipes, a roll-bar, a leather steering wheel, matte black instrument panel bezel, a distinctive instrument cluster, and aluminum pedals.
The Abarth Fiat 124 Spider's price and availability are going to be announced at a later date.
