Acura ILX, NSX and 2013 RDX Announced

 »  »  »

Acura announced today its line-up for the 2012 North American International Auto Show, which includes no less than three new cars. The Acura ILX concept, the new NSX concept and the re-designed 2013 RDX will all have their debut in Detroit in January. Probably the most anticipated of the lot is the next generation of the Acura NSX supercar. So far, the company did not disclose any details regarding the NSX. However, they do mention that the NSX concept, which will be premiered at the 2012 NAIAS, will show the styling direction of the next Acura supercar.

The Acura ILX concept previews a future luxury compact sedan, which is expected to go on sale next spring.

The ILX will be Acura's entry level model, which will be sold with a choice between three engines. Among those, there will be the carmaker's first ever gas-electric hybrid powertrain. This should be interesting.

The 2013 Acura RDX will be the second generation of the 5-seat SUV, which should go on sale soon after its Detroit unveiling.

We'll have more details on the new Acura NSX, the ILX and the 2013 RDX at the time of the auto show.
