The first images and details of the new electric Audi R8 e-Tron have leaked today over the web. The company has teased us over the past week with a few videos, but today we get the first look at the Audi R8 e-Tron which will probably make quite an impression at this year's Frankfurt Auto Show. We're not sure if the German company meant for these images of the electric Audi R8 e-Tron to surface, or if this was hole in their security. Unfortunately, not many technical details of the Audi R8 e-Tron are yet known.
As seen from the images, the Audi R8 e-Tron has a much cleaner design than the regular R8, with fewer lines and no side blades. The Audi R8 e-Tron features LED headlights, no exhaust pipes, obviously, and has very few controls on the inside. The navigation screen of the Audi R8 e-Tron has been placed on the dashboard, between the clocks. There’s no information on the power and performance figure of the Audi R8 e-Tron, but we expect it to pack a serious punch.
