BMW M3 vs BMW S 1000 RR Video

BMW Motorrad, the manufacturer motorcycle division, launched this week a new promotional clip featuring a race between the E92 M3 coupe and the BMW S 1000 RR. Both vehicles were tuned at the Akrapovic factory in Ljubljana, before going against each other in a race on the track. They started on opposite positions on the circuit, to see which of them manages to catch the other. The factory BMW S 1000 RR is powered by a 142 kW (193 hp) engine and weighs 204 kg (450 lb) when fully fueled. The BMW RR used for the purpose of this race received an Akrapovic Evolution system and has an output of 198 hp and 118 Nm of torque. The weight is lowered to 197 kg.

The M3 Bimmer used is powered by the standard

engine and has received the same tuner treatment. It now delivers 442 hp and 435 Nm. The BMW M3 used for the race weighs 1,620 Kg.
