We're pretty sure when we say this is the best BMW M5 commercial of all time. The ad is for the BMW M5 E39 that was launched back in 2003. That version of the BMW M5 is powered by a 5.0 liter DOHC 32-valve V8 engine that develops 394 hp at 6600 rpm and 368 lb-ft. of torque at 3800 rpm. The top speed of the BMW M5 E39 is limited to 155 mph and the car is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds.
The commercial puts the BMW M5 E39 against a world speed record jet car somewhere in a desert.
