The Chevrolet FNR Concept was revealed today, showing Chevy's vision of a distant future sports car. The Chevrolet FNR is an autonomous electric vehicle, which, needless to day, will never make it into production. The Chevy FNR was developed by Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC). The Chevrolet FNR envisions a unique, intelligent vehicle for tomorrow’s younger consumers. some of the unique features of the Chevy FNR include sensors and roof-mounted radar that are used to map the car's environment. The information is then used by the FNR's autonomous driving system. The FNR is also equipped with Intelligent Assistant and iris recognition start. Apparently, the Chevy FNR can also play the role of a personal assistant.
In self driving mode, the Chevrolet FNR's front seats can swivel 180 degrees to face the rear seats. As you can imagine, the Chevrolet FNR can also be driven in manual mode.
