Eterniti Hemera

The British car manufacturers from Eterniti Motors revealed today their first model, called the Hemera. Eterniti's (no relation with Infiniti) Hemera is a luxury vehicle based on the Cayenne, which aims to become one of the first true SUV limousine. The Eterniti Hemera is powered by a 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which develops 620 bhp. Its torque output has not been announced. Eterniti says that the Hemera is able to reach a top speed of 180 mph, which is pretty impressive for an SUV.

Eterniti's vehicle from the 2011 IAA is just a prototype of the Hemera, which is very close to the SUV's production version. The Eterniti Hemera features carbon composite body panels, and LED headlights. At the interior, the Hemera will have

electrically-reclining rear seats with heating and cooling, iPads, wireless keyboards, and a cooler. Other luxury features will be added too.

Apart from being very powerful, the Hemera will also be suitable for rough road surfaces. At the same time, Eterniti says it will offer good handling and nice driving experience.

The Eterniti Hemera price starts at £150,000 GBP and its manufacturer plans to put it on sale in 2012.

What's interesting about Eterniti's press information, is that, apart from the images of the Hemera SUV, they also released three sketches of what appears to be a supercar. The name of the supercar is also the Eterniti Hemera, which is a bit confusing. We're sure Eterniti will clear this matter in the near future. The three sketches of the Eterniti Hemera supercar are available in the image gallery lower down this page.
