Ford revealed at this 2013 Comic-Con in San Diego the new F150 Crimefighter, which is meant to bring homage to the original Batmobile. To develop the Crimefighter F150 pickup truck, Ford joined forces with the aftermarket specialists from Galpin Auto Sports. The F150 Crimefighter comes with a black exterior finish, obviously, and red stripes running from the front to the rear of the truck. There are also red headlight and tail light surrounds, and two wings on each side of the bed. The F150 Crimefighter seems to be fitted with a bespoke exhaust system with two round chromed tail pipes. Ford equips the F150 Crimefighter with a set of black light alloy wheels with an 8-spoke design. You can already order you F150 Crimefighter from Galpin Auto Sports.
Its price has not been disclosed yet, nor the date when it will be delivered.
The original Batmobile, which was the inspiration source for this pickup truck, was sold at an action at the beginning of this year for no less than 4.62 million USD.
