The new 2015 Ford F150 had its world debut today at the 2014 North American International Auto Show. The new Ford F150 (2015) comes with a redesigned exterior and interior, as well as new and more efficient engines. The 2015 Ford F150 is built on a high-strength steel frame and it features a high-strength aluminum-alloy body. The new 2015 F150 is 700 pounds lighter than its predecessor and Ford says they tested it for 10 million miles. Ford is going to sell the new F150 (2015) with a choice between four engines and five trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum. The new Ford F150 (2015) is going to be available with a two-wheel-drive and an all-wheel-drive system and with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The 2015 F150's engine lineup includes a 3.5-liter TI-VCT V6, a 5.0L V8, a 2.7L EcoBoost and a 3.5L EcoBoost. The power and torque output of these engines, as well as their efficiency figures, are going to be announced at a later date.

Ford is going to equip the 2015 F150 with a 360-degree camera view, integrated loading ramps, BoxLink, LED headlights and rear lights, trailer hitch assist, and a smart trailer tow module. The 2015 F150's equipment list also includes Remote tailgate, high-wattage power outlets (400 watts, 110 volts), LED spotlights on sideview mirrors, and a new tailgate step.



Other highlights of the new Ford F150 (2015) include a new 8-inch LCD screen integrated into the instrument panel, LED lighting embedded in the walls of the cargo box, rear under-seat storage and boxside steps.

Some of the new technology that comes with the 2015 Ford F150 includes second-row inflatable safety belts, Curve Control, Adaptive cruise control, a Lane-Keeping System, and a Blind Spot Information System.

The 2015 Ford F150's price has not been announced yet, but the Blue Oval says it's going to put it on sale this year. Here are the full specifications and the details of the new generation Ford F150 (2015).
