The Blue Oval has revealed the Ford F150 EcoBoost Baja 1000 racer which will take on the Tecate SCORE long-distance desert endurance race later this year. The Ford F150 EcoBoost Baja race truck is powered by the 3.5-liter engine which develops 420 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,500 rpm and 365 hp at 5,000 rpm. That's than any competitive half-ton truck. Ford says 90% of the torque under the skin of the Ford F150 EcoBoost Baja is available between 1,700 rpm and 5,000 rpm.

The Ford F150 EcoBoost Baja will have to endure temperatures between just above freezing to 100 degrees and harsh terrain for over 30 hours of racing.

The Ford F150 EcoBoost Baja will also be featured on a number of documentaries including Hauling timber, 24 hours of NASCAR and Teardown.
