Until recently, the fastest production sedan was the BRABUS Rocket based on the Mercedes CLS, but things have changed. The new speed king is the G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RS that managed to reach a top speed of 365,7 km/h. The previous record held by the Merc was 362.4km/h. The official record of the G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RS has been set on the Papenburg test track and is certified by the ATP.
The G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RS is powered by a 750 hp engine, which 20 hp more powerful than the previous version of the G-POWER M5 which was clocked with 360 km/h. The extra power of the G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RS comes from two ASA superchargers.
