Hamilton to drive Senna McLaren F1 car

Goodwood announced that during this year's Festival of Speed, F1 Champion Lewis Hamilton will drive the McLaren MP4/4 and the MP4/23 F1 race cars. The McLaren MP4/4 had its debut at the 1988 Brazilian Grand Prix when was driven by none other than Ayrton Senna who's also one of Hamilton's heroes. The McLaren MP4/4 and Senna managed to take both the Constructors' and Drivers' titles in 1988.

The McLaren MP4/4 is powered by a 1.5 liter V6 turbocharged mid-engine, longitudinally mounted, coupled with a Weismann 6-speed transmission.

Lewis Hamilton will drive Senna's McLaren MP4/4 and the MP4/23 F1 race cars on Sunday, July 5th, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
