Hennessey Performance has revealed the VelociRaptor APV upgrade program for the new Ford F150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew. In case you're not familiar with the North American tuner, AVP stands for Armored Performance Vehicles. This means the Hennessey APV Ford Raptor SuperCrew gets some serious extra power, and an armor. The Hennessey APV Ford Raptor SuperCrew is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine developing 575 bhp. It's not enough to be protected, you also have to get away from a nasty situation as fast as possible.
Apart from the extra power, the tuners have also improved the braking and handling performance of the Hennessey APV Ford Raptor SuperCrew. Exact details of the modifications done on the
Hennessey APV Ford Raptor SuperCrew have not been released, but then again, a possible customer wouldn't want everybody to know what does he have under the skin of his armored vehicle.
The tuner says that despite the added weight, the Hennessey APV Ford Raptor SuperCrew manages to keep its off-road capabilities. It also has room for six, seven or eight passengers, Satellite TV, high-speed internet, entertainment systems and mobile office systems.
