Shelby American revealed this week the new Baja 700, which is based on the Ford SVT Raptor. Only 50 units of the Shelby Baja 700 Ford SVT Raptor are ever going to be built. Each of them is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine and a 2.9 liter Whipple supercharger. According to Shelby's official specs, the Baja 700 develops 700 hp. Apart from the upgraded powertrain, the Shelby Baja 700 Ford SVT Raptor is also equipped with a competition suspension system, BFGoodrich K02 tires, bigger throttle bodies and injectors, a more potent heat exchanger, and a Borla exhaust system. The Shelby Baja 700 is fitted with 18-inch custom off-road rims, Rogue Racing front and rear bumpers, and a customized interior. Optionally, you can equip your Shelby Baja 700 with Rouge Racing control arms, bypass rear shocks and 3" King coilovers.
The Shelby Baja 700's price list starts at $45,000, which does not include the price of the base Ford SVT Raptor. Well, you can't have mountains of fun without spending a little bit of money.
