The 805 hp Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 was revealed this week, offering one of the most powerful versions of the 2012MY model available on the market today. Hennessey will build only 24 units of the SRT8 Grand Cherokee, with a price tag of $235,000 USD each. The 2013 HPE800 Twin Turbo Jeep, as Hennessey Performance likes to call it, is powered by a 7.0-liter (426 cubic inches) engine, which is based on the standard 6.4 L Hemi. Thanks to twin turbo system, the modified engine spits out 805 bhp at 5,800 rpm (823 bhp at 4,000 rpm) and 823 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey rates their new Grand Cherokee SRT8 with a 0-60 mph acceleration time of only 3.1 seconds.

That's just as fast as most of today's supercars. Imagine the face of the first Ferrari driver you leave behind when the lights turn green. The tuner also claims that its supped up SRT8 Jeep is able to run the quarter mile in 10.9 seconds at 130 mph.

To get such amazing performance out of the 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8, Hennessey gave it an upgraded torque converter and transmission. The Jeep's suspension has been lowered and the brakes upgraded to 15.1 inch Brembos.

Other parts shipped with the Hennessey Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 package include lighter alloy wheels, a carbon fiber front splitter, a custom leather interior and an Alcantara steering wheel.
