Honda announced yesterday during the opening of the 2012 Paris auto show that they're working on a new version of the Civic Hatchback (European version). Apparently, Honda will reveal next year a wagon / estate version of the five-door Civic. Unfortunately, the Japanese carmaker did not disclose any additional information, apart from this teaser image. Judging from this sketch, the Honda Civic Wagon will probably have the same front end design as the hatchback, but it's going to be longer than the current model. The rear end of the Civic Wagon will probably have different styling too. It seems that Honda is trying to broaden the market for the new Civic to increase sales. Offering an estate version of the Civic is going to bring customers who are looking for a more practical vehicle than a hatchback.
