Honda revealed today the Project 2&4 that's going to have its world debut at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The Honda Project 2&4 aims to combine the freedom of a motorcycle and the maneuverability of a car. Its power comes from a 999 cc V-4 four-stroke RC213V competition motorcycle engine, which was developed in the MotoGP series. However, the engine was modified for use on public roads. The engine develops 215 PS at 13,000 rpm and 118 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed DCT transmission. So basically, the Honda Project 2&4 offers all the thrills of a high-performance bike, the safety of four wheels and a comfort of a proper seat.

The Honda Project 2&4 measures 3,040 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width and 995 mm in height. It weighs just 405 kg. It comes with a mid-mounted engine architecture and a low center of gravity. The driver's seat is more or less suspended above the road. The so-called "floating seat" aims to place the driver as close to "the action" as possible. So far, the Japanese carmaker did not mention whether or not the Honda Project 2&4 will make it into production.
