Honda HR V Revealed

 »  »  »

Honda revealed today the new HR-V prototype, ahead of its global debut, which is going to take place next month at the Paris Motor Show. As you're probably expecting, Honda did not disclose an awful lot of details regarding the HR-V. However, we can speculate that the HR-V's production version is going to look pretty much identical to this prototype. The HR-V is Honda's attempt at a coupe-SUV, similar to the BMW X6. The Honda HR-V comes with a center fuel tank, which aims to offer the most spacious and adaptable small SUV cabins. The HR-V is also equipped with Honda's so-called Magic Seats, which offer a wide range of configurations. Its second row of seats can be folded completely flat for added cargo space.

Our sources report that the production version of the Honda HR-V is going to be powered by a 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel engine or a 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol one. Their exact specifications are not known at the moment.

We'll have more details about the Honda HR-V as soon as they're available.
