The first image of the 2012 Honda CR-V concept leaked over the web today, showing the front side of the new generation model. Even though this is the concept of the 2012 CR-V, the final product will looks pretty much the same. Some of the most striking design features, such as the tinted headlights, the small side mirrors and a few other elements might get modified for production. The 2012 Honda CR-V is expected to go on sale towards the end of this year.
Honda did not disclose any details regarding the 2012 CR-V, other than the fact that it will offer new features, together with a fresh new design. However, we can make a few speculation regarding its specs. The 2012 CR-V will probably be available with a choice between a
front-wheel-drive system and an all-wheel-drive one, both petrol and diesel engines and with a choice between a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission.

UPDATE: Honda says that it has improved the aerodynamics of the 2012 CR-V, thanks to the newly designed front fascia.
The public debut of Honda's 2012 CR-V will take place at the Orange County International Auto Show in Anaheim, California, in September 2011.
The 2012 Honda CR-V, which is the fourth generation of the model, will go on sale in the USA towards the end of 2011. Europe will get it a year later, in the fall of 2012. Eventually, the 2012 CR-V will be sold in over 160 countries in Europe, Asia, North America, South America and Africa.
