These 2012 Honda CR-V images leaked today across the web thanks to a Japanese brochure, which apparently, was released ahead of schedule. The images show the 2012 CR-V's front end and side view. Judging from these pictures, its safe today that the production version of the vehicle is almost identical with the 2012 Honda CR V Concept premiered back in September. The only difference we were able to spot involves the headlights, which in the case of the concept were darkened. The 2012 Honda CR-V will be premiered at the 2011 Los Angeles International Auto Show and it will probably go on sale sometime in the following months.
Even though Honda did not release a great deal of details regarding the 2012 CR-V, we expect it to be powered by a 4-cylinder engine with an output of 180 hp.
In the past four years, the Honda CR-V has been one of the most successful SUVs on the market. Company's officials hope that its revised 2012 version will enjoy the same level of success.
