Honda released today the first teaser image of the new generation, 2012 Civic hatch, which will have its world debut in Frankfurt next month. Unfortunately, the Japanese car manufacturer did not disclose any new details regarding the new 2012 Honda Civic hatch. the image Honda released shows however, an interesting design detail. The rear horizontal light of the 2012 Civic hatchback works as an aerodynamic spoiler, managing the air flow behind and on each side of the car.
What we do know so far regarding the 2012 Civic 5-door is that it will have a 2.2-litre i-DTEC engine, developing 150 PS and 350 Nm of torque, and that it will emit 110g/km of CO2. Honda says that it will equip the 2012 5-door Civic hatch with start / stop technology, and probably other systems for reducing emissions and the fuel consumption, too.
