Honda revealed this week their new racecar for the British Touring Car Championship, which is called the Civic NGTC (Next Generation Touring Car). The Honda Civic NGTC is based on the 5-door hatchback version of the model and had its first public test yesterday, at Brands Hatch. The Honda Civic NGTC will enter its first race on 1 April 2012, with drivers Both Gordon 'Flash' Shedden and Matt Neal (triple-BTCC champion) at the wheel.
Honda did not disclose any details regarding their Civic NGTC, obviously, but they do mention they're really pleased with its performance. They hope the new Civic NGTC will bring them a championship title this year.
Team Manager, Peter Crolla, hopes that the new Civic NGTC will be just as competitive as the previous S2000. The Civic NGTC's next testing session will take place at Donington Park circuit on Thursday 23 February.
