Honda released today the first full images of the European 2012 Civic Hatchback, which will have its world debut tomorrow, at the 2011 Frankfurt auto show. Fortunately, Honda managed to keep the overall feel of the Civic hatch, which managed the win the hearts of many fans on EU market. However, some elements have changed. The front grille, bumper and headlights of the 2012 Civic Hatchback have been re-designed. So have its tail lamps, rear bumper and hatch, which now features a full length stop light. The same stop light of the 2012 Civic Hatch also works as an aerodynamics spoiler, which adds extra downforce on the car's rear axle.

Honda says it has re-designed almost all body parts of the 2012 Civic hatch, with the purpose

of improving its handling, appearance and quality. The Japanese car maker also says they managed to reduce the Civic's CO2 emissions.

The 2012 Honda Civic Hatchback is designed specifically for the European market, where it will go on sale in early 2012.

The full specifications, and hopefully pricing information, of the 2012 Civic hatch, will be made available tomorrow.
