2012 Honda CR V Super Bowl Commercial

When you're in need for good commercial idea, you just go ahead and enlist the help of a huge Hollywood movie star. The rest doesn't really matter. You don't even have to get the good idea anymore. This is the case with Honda's Super Bowl ad for the new 2012 CR-V. They're choice for the advert is Matthew Broderick, who's goal is to show just how practical the 2012 Honda CR-V is. Under the pretext of being sick, he skips going to the set, where he was probably shooting a movie. Instead of going to work, he goes out for some fun, with the Honda CR-V of course.

Honda's new commercial, which will air during the 2012 Super Bowl XLVI, is called "Matthew's Day Off".

This is an obvious reference to "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", which is classic movie from the '80s.
