The Kia GT4 Stinger concept, which previews a future high-powered sports car, had its world debut today at the North American International Auto Show. Kia's GT4 Stinger concept measures 4,310mm in length, 1,890mm in width 1,250mm in height and it has a 2,619mm wheelbase. The Kia GT4 weighs just 1,304kg and it has a 52/48 front/rear weight distribution. The Kia GT4 Stinger comes with a 2+2 seating configuration and it is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline direct injected (T-GDI) four-cylinder engine developing 315 hp. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a rear-wheel-drive system. Kia equips the GT4 Stinger with 20-inch center-lock aluminum wheels with carbon fiber inserts and Pirelli P-Zeros tires.

Kia equips the GT4 Stinger with Brembo Gran Turismo brakes with two-piece 15-inch cross-drilled discs and four-piston calipers.

The GT4 Stinger features LED headlights, a carbon fiber front splitter, and a long bonnet with two chrome accent pieces. The KIA GT4 comes with transparent A-pillars that offer the driver a 270-degree view, a floating roof, and special rocker panels with function cooling ducts for the brakes.

For the interior of the GT4 Stinger, Kia chose billet-aluminum door handles, leather race-inspired bucket seats, billet-aluminum pedals, a D-shaped steering wheel, and an LED-illuminated instrument panel.
