Kia has unveiled at this year's Detroit auto show the new Kia KV7 concept, which offers Gullwing doors, a tabletop computer and lounge-like seating. The Kia KV7 concept is meant to be a vehicle capable of transporting a large number of people and their luggage, while working as a connected social hub. The Kia KV7 concept measures 191.85 in. (4873mm) in length, 80.0 in. (2033mm) in width and 68.1 in. (1729mm) in height and has a 122.0 in. (3100mm) wheelbase.
The power of the Kia KV7 concept comes from a Theta II 2.0-liter GDI turbocharged engine delivering 286 hp via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Kia KV7 concept features a continuous line of
LED fog lights, LED Directional turn indicators, vertical LED headlamps and a passenger-side gullwing door.
The interior of the Kia KV7 concept features 4 custom-built swiveling seats, a rear-corner mini-lounge with seating for three and various integrated storage compartments. For entertainment, the Kia KV7 concept offers a large multi-use display with climate and navigation systems, a rear floating tabletop touch-screen computer display and a Wi-Fi system.
At this point, Kia has not mentioned whether or not the Kia KV7 concept will make it into production. Watch the Kia KV7 on video after the jump.
