Kia KND 7 Concept Announced

 »  »  »

Kia announced that the world debut of the new KND-7 concept is going to take place at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Kia says that the KND-7 concept previews a future compact four-door coupe, but judging from this image they released, we'd rather call it a hatchback. Unfortunately, the Korean carmaker did not disclose any kind of details regarding the Kia KND-7. According to our sources, the KND-7 concept is powered by a 1.6-liter GDI (gasoline direct injection) four-cylinder engine that develops 204 hp and 265 Nm of torque. Taking into account the size of the KND-7, this engine could make it quite a fun car to drive. Apparently, the Kia KND-7 is going to be equipped with a Driving Information System that can understand human gestures, and a steering wheel that can monitor the driver.

We'll have more details about the Kia KND-7 concept in the following weeks.
