Kia Novo Concept

Kia revealed at this year's Seoul Auto Show the rather interesting looking Novo concept. The Kia Novo concept is a fastback coupe-like concept, with a minimalist interior, that previews the Korean carmaker's future design language. The Kia Novo is built on the same platform as the Cerato (Forte) and it features short front overhangs, longer rear overhangs and a fastback roofline. some of the Novo's distinctive design features include the slim, long glass area, the laser headlights, the broad air intakes, the triangular exhausts pipes and the rear-hinged doors. Kia used for building the Novo concept a lot of aluminum and carbon fiber, however, we're sure its production version is going to use more conventional and less expensive materials.

At the interior, the Kia Novo features a long, wide dashboard, a instrument binnacle with a 3D hologram display, and a so-called "blind control" touch pad next to the steering wheel for controlling the car's functions.

The Kia Novo is powered by 1.6-litre Kappa turbocharged petrol engine with direct injection (T-GDI) coupled with a 7-speed DCT transmission. The Kia Novo is fitted with adaptive concave profile tires, and 20-inch alloys.
