At this year's AAE2008 (Advanced Automotive Electronics) conference Barry Shrier, CEO of Liberty Electric Cars predicts the end of the internal combustion engine and the dawn of the electric car industry. Liberty Electric Cars, is a company that invested 30 million pounds to re-engineer luxury and 4x4 vehicles and turn them into zero emission, electric high performance cars.
Shrier's presentation at the AAE2008 challenges the speed of the transition from internal combustion to electric as expected legislation, social awareness and technological advances accelerate change in transport choice.
