The Japanese carmaker has announced today that the Nissan GT-R deliveries begin on the UK market today, 9th April. Since Nissan began taking pre-orders for the Nissan GT-R on 2nd April 2008, it received 1,250 deposits and for those who are at the beginning of the queue, the wait is over. The company also said that if you choose to order a Nissan GT-r in the UK today, you could wait for almost a year for it to be delivered.

The Nissan GT-R units sold in the UK are European spec with 5 PS more, Dunlop SP Sport 600 DSST tires and standard RAYS alloy wheels.

The Nissan GT-R is powered by a hand-built 3.8-litre V6 twin-turbo engine that the official specs say delivers 485 PS and 588 Nm of torque. However, because each engine is built by hand, the actual figures may differ. The engine of the Nissan GT-R is coupled with a six-speed dual clutch transmission with paddle-shift and an advanced all-wheel drive system.

The Nissan GT-R price for the British market starts at £56,795.
