The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport had its world debut today at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport is built for recreational and club racing and it's aimed at motorsport newcomers. As a result, it is not street legal. Just like its road legal sibling, the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport is powered by a 3.8-litre flat-six engine. The engine is mated to a modified version of the six-speed Porsche double clutch transmission with shift paddles. The Cayman GT4 Clubsport is equipped with a racing mechanical rear-axle locking differential, and the same lightweight strut front axle as the one used in the 911 GT3 Cup. Its strut suspension with transverse arms is adopted from the same racing car.

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport is fitted with racing brakes, which include 380-millimetre steel brake discs on all four corners. The Cayman GT4 Clubsport is also equipped with one-piece, six-piston aluminum fixed calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear. The Cayman GT4 Clubsport's ABS offers twelve settings and its ESP has been modified to work with slick tires. The racer is also equipped with electro-mechanically operated power steering.

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport weighs just 1,300 kg. Its equipment list includes a safety cage, a racing bucket seat with a six-point harness, a 90-litre standard tank (optionally you can choose between a 70-litre or 100-litre FT3 safety tank), 18-inch five-bolt forged wheels at the front with Michelin tires (25/64-18), and 18-inch five-bolt forged rims at the rear with 27/68-18 tires.

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport's price is set at 111,000 EUR or $165,000 USD.
