Production Honda FCV Revealed

Honda revealed today the production version of the FCV, which is going to have its world debut at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Show. The 44th Tokyo Motor Show is going to take place between 30 October and 8 November 2015. The Honda FCV is the world's first fuel-cell powered sedan. The Honda FCV fuel-cell powertrain is located in the space usually used for an internal combustion engine and a transmission. This architecture enables the Honda FCV to offer five seats and a reasonably large luggage compartment. According to the Japanese car manufacturer, the FCV will offer a maximum range of 700 km at cruising speed. Honda did not disclose any specifications at this moment, but the carmaker does mention the FCV come with high-output motors.

Honda says that the FCV can be used as a mobile powerplant, thanks to its external power feeding inverter. This means it can provide electricity for your home in case of an emergency. We Will have more details about the Honda FCV as soon as they are available.
