The aftermarket specialists from VATH revealed today their tuning program for the latest generation, 2011 Mercedes CL63 AMG facelift, equipped with Daimler new 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine. The new VATH 2011 Mercedes CL63 AMG develops 463 kW / 630 hp and 930 Nm of torque, which are good for accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.3 seconds and to get to a maximum speed of 300 km/h. To get the extra horsepower out of AMG's V8 biturbo, VATH equipped the 2011 CL63 with a new engine management system, called the Tuning-Kit V63S, and a new exhaust.

A top speed of 300 km/h requires some serious brakes. Vath updated the ones on the 2011 CL63 with steel tubes, Castrol SRF brake fluid,

and a recalibrated ABC (Active-Body-Control) system. Vath's Mercedes CL63 sits on 9x20-inch wheels at the front axle and 10,5x20-inch ones at the rear, with 255/35ZR20 and 275/35ZR20 tires.

The VATH 2011 Mercedes CL63 AMG comes with new, carbon fiber side mirror coverings and radiator cover, a rear diffuser and a trunk lid spoiler. For the interior of the new Mercedes CL63, Vath is offering a sports steering wheel, carbon and wood styling accents and a 360 km/h speedometer.

The price of the new package has not been disclosed yet.
